 Our Statement of Faith:

  1. Scripture -The Bible is the inspired word of God, inerrant in the original writings, complete as the revelation of God’s will for salvation and the supreme and final authority in all matters to which it speaks.

  2. God - There is only one true, living God-infinite, eternal, unchanging in love, grace, wisdom and justice. God creates and upholds all things and though one in essence, eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  3. Father - God the Father is sovereign in creation, providence and redemption. He personally relates to the affairs of humanity and saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

  4. Son - Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God the Father, is fully God and man. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death on a cross for a sinful world, rose bodily from the grave and ascended to the Father’s side. In so doing, He paid the penalty for our sins, intercedes on our behalf before the Father and will return again as the universal King, head of His church and final Judge of the world.

  5. Holy Spirit - The Spirit executes the divine will of God for humanity and is sovereign over the incarnation, the written revelation and the work of salvation. The Spirit empowers the believer for righteous living and service.

  6. Humanity - Male and female were created by God in His image and free from sin. By a voluntary act of disobedience to God, humanity became spiritually dead. Unable to do what is acceptable to God, humanity is hopelessly lost apart from divine grace through salvation in Jesus Christ.

  7. Sin - Sin is the departure from God’s revealed will, intentionally or unintentionally. Sin corrupts every aspect of the human nature and is universal in all people. The result of sin is separation from God and eternal condemnation.

  8. Salvation - God has provided for reconciliation with Himself by the forgiveness of our sin. This gift is received through faith in Jesus Christ apart from any virtue of work by ourselves.

  9. The Church - The Church is called the body of Christ and consists of those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. It is placed in the care of the Holy Spirit until reunited with Christ in His Kingdom. The mission of the church is to glorify God in corporate worship, build itself up in the faith and communicate the good news of Christ to the world. The ordinances of the church are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s supper.

  10. End Times - Those saved in the Lord Jesus Christ will be bodily resurrected to receive rewards and reign with Him in His Kingdom, while the unsaved will receive eternal punishment.

Therefore, because we believe these things, the supreme task of believers is to glorify God and live compassionate and righteous lives before the world. Furthermore, we should be faithful stewards of our possessions and seek to realize maturity in Christ.
