A search team is working on identifying God’s choice for our new lead pastor.

Dave Falconer, Pastor Emeritus

On Sunday, January 2, 2011, the congregation, Deacon Board and Pastoral Staff of Trinity Baptist Church recognized the life and ministry of Trinity’s founding pastor, the Rev. David B. Falconer.  Pastor Dave was conferred with the title “Pastor Emeritus” in grateful recognition of his faithful and loving service as Senior Pastor of Trinity from 1963 until 1988.  His steadfast commitment to our God, his consistent love of God’s people and his faithful teaching of God’s Word have marked a fruitful pastoral ministry followed by missionary witness and service in cross-cultural ministries.

Pastor Dave continues, with Trinity’s support, in cross-cultural ministries in Arizona and Sonora and is affiliated with Missions Door and actively supports the work of CB Nogales Seminary.

Tim DeRosso, Pastor of Worship and Music

Tim has been part of Trinity since July 2002 and has had 25 years of experience in worship and music ministries while serving in Oregon, Washington and California.

“God has taught me that ministry flows out of being and the overflow of your heart. Your daily relationship with Christ and dependence on Him, and the Word of God directly influences ministry. Faithfulness and diligence in perfecting the gift God has given you is more important than talent. One must remain faithful, available and teachable.”

Tim’s passion and creativity in expressing worship of God is evident in the worship services and specials events at Christmas and Easter.

Vince Turturice, Pastor of Senior Ministries

Vince’s and Beth’s special interests are in grandparenting and gardening, and in cross-cultural short-term ministry activities.

Yesid Millan, Pastor of Outreach & Discipleship

I was born July 23, 1959 in a small town called Venadillo in Columbia. After living there for 30 years I came to the US and immigrated to this country.

After going through many difficult situations in my life, I decided to accept the gift of eternal life. After that I have been sharing the gospel with everyone.

I came to Trinity in February of 2008. I immediately immersed myself with the hispanic congregation. I’ve taken various studies in the Seminary of the Americas that were led by Pastor Wally De Smitt. I also graduated in 2004 in Memphis, Tennessee with a certificate in Evangelism Explosion. After that we decided to implement E.E. here at Trinity.

As it says in Mat. 28:18-19 this is the great commission for all believers. I’m happily married to my wife Bertha Beltran, who supports me in my journey of E.E. In 2008 I accepted the position to be the Pastor of Evangelism & Discipleship.

On April 1, 2011 I became the interim Pastor for the hispanic congregation.

Jake got his start in ministry growing up in northern Minnesota. While in high school, he founded a Christian rock band that performed and lead worship for youth groups and camps across the upper Midwest region. Jake continued his passion for worship while attending Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN by leading worship for a number of chapel services each year.
