What's a LIFE GROUP?

Life Groups are where we build intentional relationships at Trinity.

There are a few changes coming in this area starting this Fall.  If you want the in-depth version of these changes click below to read a summary of the purpose and structure of this exciting area of ministry!

There is a GREAT leadership team in place that is re-designing the way we promote and support LIfe Groups.  We can't wait to see what God does through this.  Don't miss out on a chance to be part of the cutting edge of what God is doing at Trinity!

Life Groups are about INTENTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS!  They provide a place for people to connect in small to mid-size group settings. It is here that people are challenged to grow spiritually, build godly relationships, minister to each other and study God's Word.  Check out the descriptions below and click on the icons to see group lists for that category.

Connect Groups are based on the belief that God has given us all gifts and passions. When we use those gifts God shows up! These groups exist to form connections and relationships around something that you are passionate about. It could be cooking, gardening, tennis, fine dining… The challenge is to do something you love, invite others to do it with you and look for ways to bring the presence of God into the relationships that develop. This category also includes groups that form to enfold new attendees. The leaders of Care Groups should be more mature Christians who want to be challenged spiritually to go beyond head knowledge and LIVE the gospel!

Care Groups exist to respond to specific needs and issues that people are facing and to bring the word of God and the support of relationships to bear in those lives. Grieving, addiction and abuse recovery, marriage support, financial counseling (like Financial Peace University) fall under this category. These groups are responsive to needs and may form in response to life situations among the church or community.

Commit Groups exist to provide structured commitment for growing in your faith. Bible studies, mentorship relationships, accountability groups, leadership development, discipleship groups (like the Discovery Course) fit into this category.
