Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed

What does AWANA stand for?
The Bible encourages us in 2 Timothy 2:15 that we should all do our best to understand and correctly apply the truths in God's word. AWANA is an acronym taken from the words of this verse and stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.

What is the purpose of AWANA clubs?
We have a two-fold purpose: to tell boys and girls the good news about Jesus Christ and to teach them how to follow God throughout their lives.

What do we do at AWANA?
Each week we have great lesson times with special speakers, we memorize verses from the Bible and play fun games. Throughout the year we also have some special events like the Fair, Grand Prix, Bible Quiz and Olympics.

Where & When do we meet?
We line up together on the basketball court for the flag ceremony starting at 4:55 pm on Sunday . Each club is then dismissed to their individual room.

It is important that everyone arrive by 4:50 pm so that we can start on time at 5:00 pm. Plan to pick up your child directly from their club at 6:45 pm. (Please note that parents of Cubbies are required to be on campus throughout the evening.)

We'd love for you as a parent to be involved in our AWANA program.
